Something that can add up quick on the cost of a new house are kitchen appliances. So when I read from MomSelect that Frigidaire and Jennifer Garner have teamed up to support Save the Children. At MakeTimeforChange.com, when you set a place at the virtual kids' table, Frigidaire will donate $1 to support Save the Children's work to help children in need in the U.S. Plus, by setting a place at the virtual kids' table, you could win a new Frigidaire Professional® Range! Double score!!! Helping others PLUS a chance to win a stove that pre-heats in less than six minutes, has a delay start that lets you start cooking on your schedule, AND has five burners. So head on over to MakeTimeforChange.com, and have fun setting the virtual kids table while helping a great cause!!!
Disclosure: By making this post, I have been entered for a chance to win a Frigidaire Professional® Range as part of the Frigidaire program. Wahoo!

Hot Water Heaters
Note to self...
When we build our dream home, put the hot water heater in the garage. That is if we don't have a fancy point-of-use water heater units. This morning the hot water in our rental house busted and flooded the floor of our garage. I'm so thankful that it is located in the garage because it burst some time in the wee early morning. The side yard was flooded so I'm guessing it was early early morning. I can't reiterate enough how happy I am that the tank was located in the garage and have learned the valuable lesson to have our tank also located in the garage of our dream home!

Dream Home Wish List
Here's our lists of what we would like to have in a dream home. Even though I'm putting "His" and "Hers" list a lot of what we both want is on each other's lists and they crossover almost 100%(although I'm not as worried about having a urinal, if it's important to my husband, it's important to me!)
His...
1. Urinal
2. Hidden room
3. 3 car garage attached to house; separate shop with 1/2 bath including a urinal/pooper/sink
4. In the shop - a car lift and a bay to climb under a parked car
5. 2 washers & 2 dryers
Hers...
1. 4 bedroom or 3 bedroom with bonus room for music/art/mini theater
2. 2-2.5 bath
3. Have the following all near each other... kitchen/ laundry/ masterbedroom/ entrance from garage
4. For the master bath... giant bath tub, 2 sinks, seperate poo room, linen closet
5. Walk In closet with master bedroom
6. Stairs up to attic instead of the pull down thing
7. Covered and screened backporch with sliding glass walls/doors for wintertime
8. Fenced backyard
9. Split floor plan with master bedroom on one side and other bedrooms on the other side of house
10. Formal dining room near kitchen
11. Dishwasher!!!
12. Kitchen layout open to in kitchen eating area
Hmmm. I feel like I'm getting greedy but doesn't hurt to dream right?! :)

About this blog!
Ok, have I lost it?! I've already got three blogs... our family blog MageeBaby and our local area events blog WestTNFamily and the latest postcard artshow blog CranberryDays and several websites hosted by websiteanimal.com ...
How God transformed my heart and soul...http://peaceandjoy.websiteanimal.com
My artistic endeavors...http://clou.websiteanimal.com
My first mailart show to curate...http://coffeemailart.websiteanimal.com
Web resource for calls for artists...http://calltoartists.websiteanimal.com
Hmmm I might have a web addiction! LOL
OK
OK
OK
Enough shamelessly plugging all my websites! I'm creating this blog MaterialsList to keep track digitally of all the little and big items that it takes to build a dream home. :) Some of these things may someday be used and some of these things may not. But if something peaks my curiousity or strikes my fancy, I'm going to post about it here.
Thanks for stopping by and dreaming with me!
